to take a moment here to bid a fon fair well to someone we lost this year. ham rove, ham was chief strategist and principal lunch metaphor colbert super pac. then last month tragedy struck when he fell repeatedly on to a knife that i was holding. before we could get him to a took tore he was eaten by a dog. i can't tell you how much ham meant to me. well, technically coy but it's a super pac so legally i don't have to. just like i don't have to tell you where the 773,704.83 of super pac money went. i just hope and pray they're both in a better place now. well that brings me to this letter that i received from a group calling itself the ham rove memorial fund, which i was surprised to learn i am on the board of. now in the letter that i sent to me it says that the fund was founded to honor ham's memory with charitable gifts. and recently the fund received an anonymous donation of $773,704.83. now where did that specific amount of cash come from? well, it is a its it came from po box bite me. like a plot out of a tom clancy cold war novel. a rove navy sailor is suspected of telling top-secret submarine tracking technology to the russians. nbc affiliate reporter andy fox with wavy has this story. >> reporter: robert hoffman appeared in court wearing a t-shirt with a rooster on it with the words "born to fight," in reference to cock fighting. mr. hoffman, did you try to sell government secrets? just a big smirky smile from hoffman, who retired a year ago and is trained as a navy cryptologic technician. he is able to find submarines using sophisticated direction-finding technology. the indictment reads hoffman had access to top-secret information which could cause exceptionally grave damage to national security. on october 21st, hoffman is accused of delivering secret information to people he believed to be officials with the russian federation on how to track u.s. submarines using the technology he learned on the job working for the navy. the information included the technology and procedures required to find the subs. hoffman delivered that information to fbi agents

jumeau, before you were the roving ambassador for the seychelles, you were a u.n. ambassador. the u.s. has a major drone bass in the seychelles, which means you have close ties to the military. does that affect your negotiations here? >> not at all. first and foremost, we are a small island country, a member of the alliance of small island states. we are also part of the african union, but we always take the same position as the islands, because the islands have to stay together. ironically, the u.s. drones in seychelles take off from an airport only 10 feet above sea level. that should give them an idea of the kind of threat we are facing. when a tsunami hit the seychelles, it covered part of the airport, so by being in the seychelles, they cannot say they do not understand our position because they're very drones take off from the airport. we will also not allow our relationship with the u.s. to affect our tough stance here. we will continue to call for urgent and deep cuts in emissions, not just to save the seychelles. if the seychelles go under, so does new york, so does the nil
